Sebastian is Three

Normally I’m on the ball and have my posts up first thing in the morning, but today, today I spent the morning snuggling a sweet boy. Today I spent the morning making pancakes with blue sprinkles – per request – today my first born baby is three!

Bastian’s birth wasnt necessarily an easy one. 32 hours of induction, 2 hours of that being pushing, then finally birthing my 10 lb 2 oz, 22 inch baby boy. Yet that was the greatest day of my life. I had become a mom 9 months earlier, but now I got to hold the baby I had long awaited!
We were now a family of three and it was the greatest gift I had ever received! I rarely have issues finding the right words – but today they escape me. The love I have for him is indescribable. So instead of trying and failing to put how I feel into words, I’ll simply share some amazing moments he and I have had over the last three years.

Little boy – there are days that you test all the patience I have and days that I fail you as a mother, but each day I am called to be better than the last. Each day I am given the gift of watching you grow, watching you learn, watching you explore the world around you in ways only you can. You are the most loving and caring big brother. You call your brother your best friend and kiss my bump each night telling your sister you love her. You have a heart of gold my sweet boy and I am blessed to call you my own.
