Something Different For Father’s Day

Giving someone a gift is probably my favorite thing to do! It’s a way to say you love them. That you’re thankful for what they do. Or to simply celebrate who they are. Yet Father’s Day has always stumped me. This year I decided to do something different for Father’s Day.

I decided to be on my a-game this year, and do something I don’t normally do. Get EM’s gift ahead of time. I always struggle to find him the perfect gift. I wanted something that spoke to who he is and that I know he’d love. Something unique. I know he loves men’s watches. The only issue, is that his taste is expensive! Finding a classic, yet cool watch, was a must! Then I found JORD (pronounced YODE); these incredibly cool wooden watches.

I must admit I was nervous to give it to him. However, the minute he opened the beautiful wooden box he was in watch love.  He loved how light it was on his wrist compared to many of the others he owns. He loved that it was a piece you don’t normally see in the world of finance. It set him apart.

Wearing the watch proudly into the office – he got compliment after compliment. He felt pretty proud of his new gift! He truly couldn’t stop talking about it. A man in finance needs 3 major accessories. A classic tie, a good cologne, and a watch that makes a statement! This does just that! So do something different this Father’s Day, and give a gift that is unique and unexpected! And fun fact – you can get it engraved!!
